First Wednesday of each month at 9 am AZ time (Online)
Take an hour to step away and join your creative spirit with other creative spirits as you lean into your union with God, the Creator Spirit. A creative pause is a sacred online space for the creative in you to connect with others as you nurture a contemplative life and experience life-giving contemplative practices together. No experience is necessary – just bring yourself and an open heart and mind to be with God as you’re led through a short meditation, a time to respond individually and space to share your reflection with the group if you desire.

Monthly Contemplative Prayer Gathering
7:00am Arizona time / 9:00am CST (Online)
Our goal is for it to be a shared time in quiet and listening. As you enter the time with others, you will be invited to quiet your heart and be present to God’s presence with you. We will have a short reading/quiet meditation on Scripture followed by a 20 minute time of Centering Prayer. At the end, we will leave the space quietly and bless one another as we go. The time of our gathering will be approximately 45 minutes.
SFSAZ Formatio: the art of spiritual formation
A two-year journey in Christian spiritual formation for personal life and ministry. Formatio walks participants through their own experience of spiritual formation, a deepening understanding of the transformation process, and implications for engaging others – both individually and groups. Formatio is for those who have a desire to walk with and learn how to lead others through their own experience of spiritual formation. The primary skill we explore is listening.

Most approaches to the Enneagram focus on personality types—helpful in their own way, but often emphasizing self-improvement rather than spiritual formation. The Enneagram of Christlike Virtues offers something different. Instead of nine personality styles, the numbers represent nine Christlike virtues the Holy Spirit is cultivating within us.
This course invites you into a journey of spiritual formation: tending the “garden of the soul,” naming the weeds that choke out life, and nurturing the seeds God has planted. Along the way, you’ll discover how the Holy Spirit is already at work, leading you into deeper trust in God and shaping you more fully into the likeness of Christ.

Whether you are a seasoned outdoor adventurer or you want to experience the joy of the woods for the first time, your Scout Adventure will be a refreshing and transformational experience – and provide a memory of a lifetime.
