An Invitation to Cultivate With Us
As we step into this campaign, I want to share a little of the heart behind it.
We are not asking you to become a fundraiser. We are simply inviting you to share something you believe in with people you already know.
If SFSTX has encouraged you or you believe in our desire to see Christ-centered spiritual formation flourish across Texas, perhaps there are a few people in your life who would resonate with that vision. Your role is simply to share why this ministry matters to you and invite them to learn more, pray with us, or consider giving.
From the beginning, God has grown SFSTX through relationships, prayer, generosity, and the willingness of people to share what He is doing. As we enter this next season, we are trusting Him to continue providing through the community He has gathered around us.
Thank you for being part of that community and for helping us cultivate what God has planted.
With gratitude and expectation,
Carolann Duffin

Helping Others Understand the Campaign
I’m excited to share a meaningful opportunity for a ministry I believe in and am grateful to support—the Spiritual Formation Society of Texas (SFSTX).
SFSTX has been invited to participate in a Matching Grant Initiative designed to help Christian nonprofits strengthen their financial sustainability.
What excites me most is that this opportunity is about far more than receiving a grant. Along with financial support, SFSTX is receiving training, coaching, and mentoring that will strengthen ministry relationships with those who already believe in their work, invite new people into their story, and build a healthy foundation for the season ahead.
As a young ministry, this feels like a timely opportunity to nurture what God has already planted while thoughtfully preparing for the growth we believe He may be inviting for this next season.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to participate—and excited to invite you to join me on this journey.
Ways to Participate
There are two meaningful ways to participate in Cultivating What God Has Planted.
You can make a one-time gift that provides immediate support for the work ahead, or you can become a monthly partner, providing steady support that helps sustain the ministry of SFSTX throughout the year.
Whether you choose to give once or partner monthly, every gift helps nurture what God has planted and makes it possible for SFSTX to continue creating opportunities for spiritual formation, connection, and growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Matching Grant work?
SFSTX began this 90-day initiative with an initial $2,500 grant and the challenge to raise an additional $2,500—a dollar-for-dollar match. Thanks to the generosity of our community, that first match was successfully completed.
From there, the opportunity continues to grow. As new gifts and commitments are made, they become the foundation for the next matching challenge. We are grateful that $35,000 has now been committed, providing a strong foundation for this next phase as we invite our wider community to participate.
Can I give monthly?
Absolutely. Monthly partners provide sustainable support that helps strengthen the ministry throughout the year.
How will my gift be used?
Funds will strengthen SFSTX’s capacity to continue offering in-person and online ministry opportunities at no or low cost. Investments in communications, website support, donor stewardship, and ministry infrastructure will help us expand our reach and further our mission across Texas.
Will I receive updates on the progress?
Yes. Throughout the 90-day grant period, SFSTX will share monthly updates so you can follow their progress and see how the campaign is unfolding.
Pray with Us
We invite you to pray with us as you feel led, but particularly:
- For God’s continued grace and provision
- For each person who will encounter our ministry
- For wisdom and discernment as the ministry grows
- For the new relationships and connections that will form through this campaign
Thank you for praying, sharing, giving, and helping cultivate what God has planted.
